Just Call Me Spaghetti-Hoop Boy
This book is about a boy called Adam Butters who is adopted. He needs to find his real mum for a school project on family trees. While he is researching his project, he finds a letter that tells him 3 things:
- His name is ACE,
- He’s got a mum called Rose Walker,
- He was born in Pegasus Park Hospital.
Adam wants to be a superhero, as ACE is a superhero name and everyone loves superheroes! He just needs to prove to the world who he can really be!
One day, at school, they go to the local library to search the news reports to find out information on their families.
Adam searches Adam Butters.
Nothing comes up.
Then he types Rose Walker.
“Baby found by bins at Pegasus Park Pool!”
Adam now knows the real story of his life!

I really liked this book. I give it 5* and recommend it to 8+. It’s funny, exciting and emotional. It’s full of fun adventures that sometimes Adam finds hard.
