Title: Pigsticks & Harold Author: Alex Milway This Book is about a hamster {Harold} and a pig {Pigsticks}. THEY GO ON AN ADVENTURE TO THE END OF THE EARTH! Pigsticks needs an assistant and he interviews the town but he doesn’t find his assistant. Then, a hamster comes along and gives him an exciting parcel with his adventure kit in it: a bow tie, kettle and flask, travel pillow, thermal underwear and a corked hat and other things for Pigsticks’ adventure. Pigsticks says that Harold should be his assistant! They go on a long walk to the End of the Earth and they travel through hot bits of the country and snowy bits. Their village is the End of the Earth and they end up where they started! I enjoyed the book because I like adventures. I love the colourful pictures in the book. I like Pigsticks and Harold because they are the main characters and they are funny. I give it 100/100 and I recommend it to explorers aged 6+ and children who love reading!!!! J

Title: Squishy McFluff Author: Pip Jones This book is about a girl called Ava and her invisible cat Squishy. As soon as the cat arrives, they get into lots of MISCHIEF,  like spilling dad’s whisky, drawing on the curtains, putting newts in mum’s boots and making a jungle in the bath!!!! Who’s being naughty? You will find out in the book. I give it 10* because it is funny. I love the colourful pictures. I wish it was longer though! I can’t wait for Supermarket Sweep. I recommend it to 5+ if they are reading it with mummy and daddy or good readers age 6+

Title: Supercat vs the Chip Thief Author: Jeanne Wallis The book is about a roly-poly cat who is lazy! He is called Tiger and he lives with James Jones. His life changes when he finds his favourite food on James’s smelly sock! Tiger licked it then he turned into SUPERCAT!!!! Then he needs a costume – a leotard, pants and sequins! Now he can sing, speak and run … I give it 10/10 so far because it’s funny!

The Big Bunny Boom. The book is about a girl called Pandora and her Granny who is a witch. My favourite story is Alakazoom! The Big Bunny Boom. I like it because Granny made a bunny using her magic! If you like funny books, naughty Grannies and a bit of magic, then read this book. I like the colourful pictures. I want a Granny like her granny! I give it 100/100

Title: My Friend's a Griswok Author: Majorie Blackman The book is about two boys that are friends called Mike and Alex. They are looking after Polly who is Alex’s sister. Alex’s family are Griswoks (they can change into animals). Mike doesn’t know their secret!!!! They try to find Polly but she gets up to mischief!!! My favourite part is when she turns into an elephant!!! I like the jokes at the front too. I give it a 1000 stars!

She does funny things like making tadpoles in tea and used magic to make the teacher stand in his pants (everyone laughed). I liked this book because you can listen to it using the QR code and the pictures are colourful. I give this book 100 stars!

Title: Minnie Winnie Author: Laura Owen & Korky Paul There are 4 stories in this book. My favourite is Winnie’s Awful Auntie. I love it because Winnie turns into a baby as the spell does not work. I love the Ghost in the Post because the Ghost writes a poem and things go wrong! The pictures are fantastic. I give it 100 stars!

Title: The Dark Author: Lemony Snicket The book is about a boy called Laszlo who is afraid of the dark. The dark lives in his house. One day he visits the dark in his basement and the dark speaks to him. He wasn’t scared of the dark anymore. I like this book because I like the dark. The pictures are good and colourful.
