‘Sometimes you have to look-look-look to find the perfect book’ and this definitely was!

Humphrey is a hamster who lives in room 26 of Longfellow School. He is a mischievous and adventurous hamster who has ‘a lock-that-doesn’t lock’ on his cage which is how he goes on his adventures around the school.

In this book we learn all about Egypt and lots of secrets likes clubs and surprises but I’m not going to reveal them! Moreover, there are lots of friendships e.g. between Humphrey and Og the Frog, the children and the teachers. I like the friendship between Humphrey and Og the most because they communicate with bounces and talking and they are very nice friends.

I recommend this to 7+ readers who are adventurers and who want to laugh their socks off.

I want to read more of these books and the next one I want to read is “More Adventures according to Humphrey”.

I give this book 10/10 especially because of Humphrey’s Secret Scribbles which made me want to read more! J
