The Jolley-Rogers and the Ghostly Galleon
This book is all about a girl who has pirates in her town. She is called Matilda. She has a friend called Jim Lad who is a good pirate so she sends him a letter saying that she needs him to come and help as she has pirates in town and that they had burgled the museum.
So her friend comes over and thinks that the pirates might be looking for a key that they found in Miss Pinky’s house. The next night the two friends set out to sea and rowed in a small fishing boat to the pirates’ ship. They found and loaded the museum treasure onto their boat. They managed to do this because the pirates had gone onto their ship in search of the key but….
Then …. there was a pirate on the ship who had been sleeping and he challenged Jim Lad to a duel… Does he win and get the treasure back??? Read it to find out!!!
I enjoyed this book a lot.
